Important to note if you relocate door to door check the security of the vehicle for which your worldly goods are held. You would be surprised at minor theft in these instances sometime not noticed by yourselves until months later. When relocation specialists quote insurance is usually mentioned do yourselves a favor and check all possible relocation scenarios before agreeing to the policy. You can take out your own relocation insurance elsewhere if you choose. The second method is when your goods are loaded onto a truck then taken to a depot and unloaded only to be loaded again into a bigger truck or a sub contractors truck some time later to be sent on to your destination. When checking on the relocation specialist also check what they can include for the pets or specialists items like art works or electronic equipment (make sure they can handle a plasma TV if you have one).
